Public transportation

There is a quite good bus network on Mallorca, most connections run via Palma or Inca.

In theory, almost every place on the island can be reached, but the journey there can sometimes take a very long time and it is necessary to change trains one or more times.

For example, if you want to go to the beach every day, this is very well possible by bus,

for guests who would like to explore the island or who travel a lot, we recommend using a rental car.

There is a direct bus connection from Llubí to Can Picafort or Playa de Muro.

Bus travel is very cheap in Mallorca and has a very simple fare system.

The bus stop can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot.

There is also a train station in Llubí (line Palma – Sa Pobla).

The train station is outside the village and can be reached on foot in about half an hour,

by car in about 6 minutes.

For a day in Palma a good alternative to the car. Parking spaces at the station are plentiful and free of charge. Taking the train, like taking the bus, is very cheap and easy.

Alternatively, there is of course the option of using a taxi.

More information about bus and train, such as timetables and prices, can be found here:

There are numerous car rental companies in Mallorca. These vary greatly in terms of prices, services and customer service.

You can get a good overview, for example, on these comparison portals:

Bike rental

Cycling is very popular on Mallorca, especially in spring and autumn, so there are many providers who rent out bikes for all kinds of needs. Often a delivery service is also offered, depending on the provider with an extra charge, or from a certain minimum rental period.

We do not rent out bicycles ourselves.

For example, our guests have had good experiences with RossRent in Selva

(14 km from Llubí):

Scooter rental

An alternative to renting a car is to explore the island by Vespa or scooter. There are also numerous providers here. Many rental companies also offer a delivery service, e.g. Palma Bay Rental Co, Vintage Motors in Palma or Rent a Scooter in Can Picafort (no delivery service but can be reached by bus from Llubí).

There is a parking lot directly in front of our house.

If all the spaces there are occupied, there is always a parking space in the surrounding streets.

Unfortunately we cannot reserve a parking space as it is a public parking.

Parking is free of charge.

Check-in

Your arrival is possible from 1 p.m.

An earlier arrival is usually not possible, as the rooms are often occupied beforehand and still have to be cleaned for you.

However, if you wish, you are welcome to arrive earlier and leave your luggage with us.

Check-in is usually possible until 6 p.m.

If you have a later arrival, please let us know in good time to ensure that someone is on site. For arrivals after 10 p.m. we use a key box.

If necessary, you will receive the instructions by e-mail.

As we are a small house, our reception is not manned all the time and we want to make sure that we are there when you arrive. We therefore ask you in any case to give us your approximate arrival time in advance.

Beaches

The closest beach to Vista de la Vila is Playa de Muro in Can Picafort.

Reachable by car in about 25 minutes.

There is also a direct bus service from Llubí.

The best way to get there by car is to drive to the hotel "Valentin Playa de Muro".

Opposite, on the other side of the road, there is a small parking lot from which a wooden footbridge leads through a pine forest to the natural beach.

There are also the beaches of Son Bauló and Son Serra de Marina closed by.
